What Does It Take To Be A Donald Trump Business?

Posted in It's Your Business at 11:08 pm by admin

Since you are a business oriented person, you might be thinking: “oh, great, here it comes another fad that sounds to good to be true and I don’t have time for this now.” Well, the fact is, like gravity you do not have to believe in Feng Shui for it to work. Whether you believe in the law of gravity or not it exists, and it affects everything you do. As Donald Trump said: “I don’t have to believe in Feng Shui, but I use it because it makes me money.”

It is no surprise that famous people like Trump, Oprah and Spielberg and the largest companies of the world such as Coca-Cola, Sony, Shell, Procter & Gamble, and others actively embrace Feng Shui. These companies and people practice Feng Shui principles as a way to add value to their service, to increase their profitability, create harmonious relations among employees, and to reduce employee turnover. Not only that, Feng Shui differentiates them from their competitors while multiplying their earnings and free time.

Feng Shui is not a fad, nor is it about religion, philosophy or superstition. Feng Shui is the art and science that unites time, space, people and the environment as one integral entity. Learning how to integrate Yin/Yang (opposite polarities) and the five elements: FIRE, EARTH, METAL, WATER, WOOD in your office decor will empower you. After rearranging your office furniture you will be able to relax your nervous system, inspire your mind and calm your emotions. This equates to higher productivity, improved health, better relations, and more prosperity and financial fortune.

5 WEALTH Producing Principles of Feng Shui

1. ENERGY Everything in your office is alive with energy. This includes: people, animals, plants, chairs, desks, art, etc. Every single object you have in your office talks to you with memories and feelings. To create an environment that supports and empowers your career goals and objectives, surround yourself with furniture, business equipment and decorative items that reflect wealth and success.

2. SIMPLICITY Less clutter means MORE opportunity and good fortune in your business and personal life. Here are some examples of what clutter in specific areas of your work environment actually means: Clutter located in the entrance of your office represents fear of relationships. If you have lots of clutter on your desk, it symbolizes frustration, fear of letting go or the need to control everything. In the corner or behind a door represents detachment from others. Clutter under your office furniture represents the importance of appearances to you. And, if you have clutter all over your office, it usually indicates frustration, anger, and sometimes even self-loathing.

3. BALANCE In Feng Shui there are 5 elements that govern a balanced environment: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. An office environment with an over dominate element i.e. too much WOOD will deplete your health and finances over time. Conversely, the absence of an element such as FIRE can wreak havoc on your reputation and fortune. Harmony, peace and prosperity flourish in a balanced environment.

4. HEALTH Invisible EM waves from your monitor screen, cell phone, fluorescent lights and other office equipment deplete your energy and reduce your productivity. EMF’s (Electromagnetic Fields of Energy) are often overlooked and can cause grave danger to your brain, nerve, endocrine and reproductive systems and to every related organ and bone in your body. According to Dr. Yao, a research physicist, “The typical American receives electromagnetic radiation up to 200 million times more intense than his ancestors took in from the sun, the stars and other natural resources.” Thus, it is imperative that you protect yourself and your employees from office RADIATION, and create a healthy and safe work environment for business and people to prosper in. 5. POWER A classical school of Feng Shui called Eight Mansions has created more millionaires and billionaires than any other school of Feng Shui. This School capitalizes on specific directions for health, for negotiating, for selling, for communicating, for exercising and for sleeping. Honoring your personal power directions at work, will enable you to reduce stress and work less while increasing your WEALTH. Discover your power element at: www.chiquiz.com.

Top 10 Reasons Submitting Articles Helps You Find Clients Online

Posted in It's Commerce at 8:23 pm by admin

Copyright 2006 Donna Gunter

Making the decision to submit articles to build my website traffic has been one of the smartest online marketing decisions I’ve made recently. I’ve been publishing an email newsletter since 2001, but only started exploring this option as a way to build website traffic a little over a year ago.

My article-writing routine consists of setting aside time in my calendar (every Wednesday from 9 AM - noon) to write my article, post it on my website, set up my email newsletter to go out, and submit my article through a submission service. Creating this routine for myself has created a bank of 25 articles that I’ve written, along with another 25 or so that I have yet to submit to the article banks.

Writing articles is a challenging task, and many of my clients cringe when I mention it to them as a marketing strategy. However, I think it’s one of the smartest marketing strategies in your marketing arsenal. Why? The best articles reflect the writer’s character and voice, and contain valuable content gleaned from the writer’s personal experiences. Non-writers are encouraged to hire ghost writers, but I think It’s difficult for a ghost writer to make an article sound like you — enough so that someone feels as though you’re sitting across the table from them over a cup of coffee. After reading an article in one of my newsletters, I’ve been repeatedly told by numerous readers who know me, “Oh, that sounded just like you!” There is no higher compliment to my ears — I know that my authenticity is coming across to my readers. That’s an important aspect of article writing to me — I want my readers to get to know, like, and trust me so that at some point they feel comfortable doing business with me.

Here’s how writing and submitting articles are helping me find clients online:

1. Establishes you as an expert. I’m submitting 6-10 articles per month through an article submission service. Anyone searching for articles that I’ve written in any of the major article banks will probably find at least 10 that I’ve authored. Today I Googled my name, and found 18,300 sites listing me. I would say that about 98% of the listings actually refer to me, and that 98% of that number are links to articles banks, blogs, ezines, etc. publishing my articles. Much to my surprise, I recently discovered that I’m a SmartBiz Industry Expert at http://www.smartbiz.com/industryexpert/445

2. Demonstrates your credibility. The fact that I write the majority of my articles from my personal experiences establishes my credibility in the eyes of my readers. In fact, I’ve had some newsletter subscribers whom I’ve never met call me on the phone and start a conversation with me, as though we’re old friends. In their minds, we are old friends, as they’ve been reading my material for some time, I, on the other hand, have to run to catch up, because I don’t know anything about them. I take my time and put much effort and energy into my writing, and I think it shows in the finished pieces. There is a great deal of junk being submitted as articles to article banks, but I’m not willing to dash off a piece of fluff with little value and attach my name to it.

3. Have articles published by other publications. As I do online searches for my articles or set up Yahoo alerts to track my article submissions, I continue to be amazed at where some of my articles end up. I recently had one of my articles published by SitePro News, www.sitepronews.com, which brought a great deal of traffic to my website, more subscribers to my ezine, and a number of sales of products for which I’m an affiliate. You can read all about this experiences at http://onlinebizcoachingcompany.typepad.com/online_business_coach ing_/2006/01/what_one_articl.html

4. Encourages joint ventures/strategic alliances with business owners in other industries pursuing the same target market. I’ve been approached by a number of other companies who are seeking strategic alliances, link exchanges and referrals solely based on reading about me from one of my articles and liking what I had to say. I’ve chosen to pursue some of these offers, and I would have never had the opportunity without using article submissions as a way to get the word out about my services and my company.

5. Enables you to be found in search engines on a variety of terms. One of the strategies of article submission is to intersperse your primary website keywords into your article so that your articles help boost your search engine ranking on your search terms. I haven’t yet gotten that sophisticated in my website optimization, and as I write from my heart in terms of what’s happening to me or my business in any given week, my articles, in many cases, have little to do with the keywords I’m using to optimize my website. What I have discovered, however, is that I’m getting organic traffic to my site on all kinds of keywords, most of which would have never occurred to me as search terms. However, these terms are present in one (or more) articles that I’ve written. Now, my goal is to create a call to action on my individual article pages to increase the number of subscribers to my newsletter, which is my primary call to action on my website.

6. Increases inbound links to your site. Creating inbound links (links from other sites to yours) seems to be one of the hottest SEO techniques today. However, I’ve heard that article bank links are not considered viable an inbound links. I partially agree with that sentiment. Google apparently still loves them, given the number of inbound links it shows to my website. The strategy seems to be less popular for Yahoo and MSN.

7. Enhances your search engine ranking. If you have a carefully-crafted SEO strategy and optimize your articles with the same keywords you use to optimize your site, you can increase your organic ranking in search engines (how your site shows up in the rankings without using any pay-per-click services). Higher rankings ultimately result in higher page rank (greater relevance) in Google, and better your traffic rank in Alexa. In the last month, due to my article submissions, my Google page rank has gone from a 2 to a 4 (an 8 or 9 is considered great, so I have a way to go) and my Alexa traffic ranking has made a phenomenal leap, from number 1,964,770 one month ago (the higher the number, the poorer the rank) to 321,460, which means that Alexa considers the relevance and usage of my website to have increased dramatically in the last month.

8. Increases responses to your website’s “call to action”. Typically, on your homepage, you should create one clear call to action that you’d like your visitors to take. On my homepage, that call to action is clear. Visitors get a free ebook and a subscription to my email newsletter if they give me their name and primary email address. When someone reads your article and decides to check out your website as a result, there is a greater likelihood that the visitor will part with his/her contact information in your call to action, as you have already established some credibility via the article you wrote.

9. Creates free advertising and free publicity. Most article banks give you space to publish a 1-3 sentence bio about yourself, your services, and your website at the end of the article. This is commonly known as a resource box. Your resource box should give a short, succinct, compelling statement of who you are and what you do, and why someone would want to visit your website. Once your article is published in blogs, ezines, websites, etc, your “free advertising” increases exponentially. As many article banks now offering RSS feeds of an author’s articles, a website owner could choose to syndicate your feed on his website, giving you wonderful free publicity that would normally cost a great deal of money.

10. Creates opportunities for speaking, training or consulting. Publication of several articles on a particular topic can easily brand you as a credible expert on this topic, which may lead to an invitation to speak at a conference, or an opportunity to get paid for training or consulting time. Several of my clients have gotten radio and television interviews and speaking opportunities because an article that they wrote was published in a credible trade magazine. Interviews and speaking gigs get you in front of many people at once, which allows them to get to know you and eventually purchase your goods or services.

Are you spending too much money, time and energy in promoting your website and having lackluster results? Submitting articles is a low-cost way to increase the traffic to your website and enable you to find more clients online.

The Path To Living Well: Cultivating A Sense Of Spirituality

Posted in School of Health at 1:45 am by admin

“Let us first be as simple and well as Nature ourselves.”
~Thoreau, Walden

Have you ever thought: “Wouldn’t it be great to live ‘well’?” Yet, through our often rushed and fully-packed schedules it’s easy to wonder what living well actually means. Is it about living “healthy”? Eating right to support your body? Is it about exercise? Managing stress?

The answer, indeed, is “yes” to all of these. However, before exploring what you can “do” to live well, let’s first take a look at who you are “being.” After all, it’s at the bottom of your being which creates the foundation for a healthy, fulfilling life.

How to decide who you are being? Well, most people already believe in a higher source, a higher power. But for our purposes, we’ll take it one step further. We’ll call this sense of “being” your own personal Nature. And, what’s important for a life of living well, is the connection you make to this inner Nature. The easiest way to do this… Develop your own personal belief system.

Why Develop Your Own Belief System?

If living well involves first establishing a relationship with your inner Nature, let’s also look at a few reasons why you should cultivate this relationship:

• Explains the Unexplainable:

Certain “chance” happenings and connections to other people cannot always be explained by empiric science. How do some people experience “spontaneous healing”? Or, on a smaller scale, why does just the right person “show up” when you need them? Why do the right circumstances come into your life at the precise moment?

For example: just yesterday, I was thinking about a friend of mine from college I hadn’t spoken to in a whilean hour later, she called.

Your inner Nature can give you clues to why all of this is true. Try taking inventory of yourself. Have you ever had a “hunch” or a “feeling” about something and it turned out to be true? I think we all have.

Challenge yourself by recalling all the incidents you can, then jot them down. Be aware of these connections in the future and make note of them.

• Helps You Find Joy in the Present Moment

Did you know that Now is the only moment you have? Realizing the past is behind you and the future is a function of your choices can be empowering; looking at the present moment allows you to take inventory of where you are right now (and who you’d like to be in the future). What, in you life, are you happy with? Dissatisfied with? What in your life, if you could, would you change?

Again, take a quick personal inventory by jotting these things down, then giving thought to each. Becoming aware of where you are right now, will help you set your sights for guided personal development.

• Gives You a Sense of the Larger Picture

How liberating it would be to take charge of your life! Yet, most do not realize, this power is available to all of us. If you begin where you are, you can make small, daily steps toward “being” the person you’d like to be. Why not try right now? Why not just “be” the person you’d like to? Be kind. Be healthy. Be energetic. Be successful.

Check your list again. Who do you desire to “be”? Once you know, then look for ways to “be” it. Do you need to exert more confidence? Build self-esteem? Again, add these notes to your list and spend a few minutes every day thinking about them. I think you’ll find yourself moving into that space quickly.

Take Home Message: Learn to Live in the Flow of Nature.

Perhaps there is something you’re “resisting” that is keeping you unwell or unhappy: are you in a job that is not satisfying? Grappling with an old illness or injury that is holding you back? Be aware of these things as they come to you. Then, take small steps toward change.

Make your aim to move through your pains and fears and be aware of the ways your inner nature provides cues for you. Just like the “accidental” phone call, the new job that may better serve you could also be available. Allow yourself to be open to the possibilities. Practice letting life show you how to live in it’s harmony. Most of all; enjoy the adventure! You are certain to find yourself living a healthier, more rewarding life.

The Property Index: the Terrific Universal Real Estate Hub

Posted in Universe Of Real Estate at 8:05 pm by admin

Albeit the Property Index online service is really a newcomer bureau, founded in March 2007, they have become experts very quickly. In point of fact a extremely informal bureau and focus on servicing every client who is determined to let, sell, rent, etc. real property in most areas of the world. What they promise is to aid you laser target squarely what you are calling for quick not to mention painlessly.

Realty can be bought just about anywhere today, one of the really elite areas being property for sale in Italy. It’s fairly easy to list a slew of the good land available for sale in Italy, one explanation for opting for real property here being the houses and apartments available for sale and the splendid option of living surrounded by such a vibrant, eager and bouncy people.

It’s one of the most sought after property markets today, and in view of the overall attractiveness and the agreeable weather that surrounds you all day long, how could you say no? Realty in Italy is steeped in history, art and culture, this country has been and still is home to numerous sophisticated nations.

Just 30 years back there’d be a mere dribble of Britishers looking for land in Italy. Ask everyone who has relocated to Italy and they’ll be sure to confirm this. Lots of people would tag it a fad and others tag it a practically an addiction… The people intending to move to this place generally range from young freshly weds in search of some new perspective to older people who want to enjoy retirement.

Note that you may have to wrestle with a few catches when purchasing land abroad - there will be 100s of procedures to come to terms with be it when devising a plan, inspecting or actually purchasing. Even if one single procedure is missed this could definitely escalate sizable catches and, even more important, a financial hammering.

Obviously, as is to be presumed with this popular destination, land may be quite high priced in this place and this, of course, is basically a consequence of the increasing market pressure. Despite this the customer is definitely spoiled in such an area so determined by splendid land. It can boast the whole thing one could ever relish, and lots more.

ACLU or ACLJ - The Difference is Like Night and Day

Posted in Newsreel at 9:39 pm by admin

The ACLU has championed many causes since it was founded in 1920 by Mr. Roger Baldwin. Some of the most notable causes or rulings the ACLU supported have to do with abortion rights, homosexual and lesbian rights and removal of prayer from the public schools. Some of its most notable positions were of lesser significance but created much more press because they bordered on the frivolous and were more a nuisance than a legitimate cause. They adopted positions against bible studies and prayer groups in public schools and the removal of manger scenes in public during the Christmas season. Can’t you hear the voices of many grateful Americans in a resounding…gee thanks?

Not to be mistaken for something that actually qualifies as the protection of our civil liberties is the new battlefield conjured up by the ACLU in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The three crosses adorning the city logo is a point of pride and history for the residents there but for the ACLU, they have given cause for it to rear its head and wield the battle axe. It has resulted in making “what ever happened to common sense” being the most oft used phrase in internet blogging history. But wait, it doesn’t stop there.

The latest fit the ACLU has begun; concerns prayer offered by the U.S. military’s chaplains. In short the ACLU thinks it should be stopped. Whew! That’s good thinking. I don’t know about you but the last thing I would want to have happen to me just before I went to battle for my country is to have my country tell me I couldn’t go to God in prayer. In particular they are trying to stop chaplains from praying in the name of Jesus Christ. In a volunteer force made up of mostly Christian men and women isn’t that an infringement of their religious freedom? In fact it is more than that.

The constitution says “Congress shall make no laws touching religion, or to infringe the rights of conscience.” What genius does it take to see that the ACLU is actually crying “unconstitutional” while they are proposing laws that are clearly unconstitutional? Don’t want to be crass but perhaps the ACLU lawyers and aides should all take a day off to watch Forrest Gump together. If I remember correctly the most often repeated line in that movie is, “stupid is, as stupid does”

Diametrically opposite the ACLU is the newly formed but no less formidable, ACLJ. The American Center for Law and Justice founded in 1990 is headed by Jay Sekulow who is the ACLJ’s Chief Counsel. He is a well respected advocate for constitutional freedoms and has argued many cases before the U.S, Supreme Court.

The Center for Law and Justice has successfully argued cases and supported positions in other cases which resulted in an impressive list of good common sense decisions and rulings. A short list of the accomplishments of the ACLJ is as follows.

• A guarantee for minors who want to be involved in the political process by protecting their free speech rights in political affairs.

• Rulings to protect the constitutional rights of religious groups to obtain equal access to public facilities.

• Protection for the free speech rights of pro-life demonstrators

• The right for public school students to form and participate in religious organizations such as Bible clubs.

The ACLJ is currently on the radio waves daily soliciting signatures for a petition to stop the ban on prayer by the military chaplains. The response is said to be very powerful at the least. Upwards of ten thousand people a day are asking to have their names added to the petitions.

It is shameful that Americans must pound away to ward off organizations like the ACLU whose agenda looks like it originated in la-la land. The constitution is under attack by those who feign that they are working to protect it. After all this is America and they have a constitutional right to mess with the constitution. Let’s not mess with their right to do that, but lets hope and pray (if they don’t stop us) that they don’t prevail.

The Bible tells the believer to respect the rulings and laws provided by the secular rulers because the powers that be, are all ordained of God. Romans 13:1. Almost all bible believing Christians take this mandate seriously and endeavor to be law abiding citizens. You would think that this respect for secular law would hold things in balance between those who believe in the Bible and revere the constitution and groups like the ACLU, but it does not. The ACLU seems bent on removing all reference and allusion to God on any level. What would the result be if they were successful in this plight? I choose to let the Bible answer that question.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Romans 1:28

The Future of TV - How You’ll Be Watching HDTV

Posted in University of Products at 12:47 am by admin

It used to be oh so simple. Everybody watched TV the same way; on a TV with big picture tube. As has been common throughout human existence, there were those who were dissatisfied and wanted something better. The tube grew in size, then changed to, Oh My God! Color! After the transition to color, the size of the pictures steadily increased, but still, people wanted more. Behold, the Advent Video Beam 1000 of 1972. This was the first commercially available projection TV. You remember those things, with the big, silver, curved screen and the woodgrain cabinet. The Advent gave people a taste of the big screen TV and we’ve never looked back.

Fast forward 20 years or so. Big screen TVs are everywhere and you can watch stunning HDTV with 1080 lines of resolution. High definition disc formats are upon us too, with two different HD disc formats; Blu-Ray Disc and HD-DVD, being released in 2006. In some cases you still watch the latest HDTV content on a descendant of that original Video Beam TV. In most cases the CRT is dead and has been superseded by newer, digital imaging technologies. The result is a much smaller form factor TV with an image that is orders of magnitude brighter than the projection TVs of old. TVs continue to improve every year, making leaps in every image quality measurement.

According to the CEA (Consumer Electronics Association), over 12 million digital TVs were sold in 2005 and another 15+ million are scheduled to find homes in 2006. In 2005, almost 6 million of these TVs were some form of flat panel display. This is predicted to grow to over 10 million for 2006. Traditionally, plasma has led the way in flat panel sales, followed by LCD, but this is now changing. Several manufacturers have discontinued or substantially cut back on plasma, favoring other technologies instead, such as LCD. Most notable among these is probably TV giant Sony, who introduced their new Bravia line of LCDs at the 2006 CES, but displayed no plasma sets. The result is that, although sales of plasma TVs continues to grow, the chances are increasingly greater that the cool flat panel TV on your wall will be some other technology.

What of these other technologies? How will you watch the Superbowl in HDTV in 2008? What new video displays will be found in America’s living rooms and home theaters? Several new technologies were displayed at this year’s CES in Las Vegas and some others are on the way. One very promising new technology is the Surface conductor Electron emission Display (SED). This was co-pioneered by Toshiba and Canon and looks flat out awesome! The picture quality has to be seen to be believed.

SED a flat panel display technology that uses phosphors, like a CRT. The difference is instead of using a single electron gun to scan the face of a CRT, it uses a single emitter for each pixel. This allows the display to be very flat, like a plasma or LCD. It is basically the best of both worlds, CRT image quality combined with a flat panel form factor. To make matters even better, it uses about 50% less power than a traditional LCD flat panel TV. Toshiba claimed the demo units had 720p resolution and 15,000:1 contrast ratios, but production units will have a full 1080p res and 100,000:1 contrast!

Other cool, new technologies shown at the 2006 CES in Vegas include new DLP rear projection TVs that use colored LEDs, rather than traditional bulbs as light sources. This allow the elimination of the color wheel that has heretofore been required for single chip DLP displays. The result is a decrease in complexity and the elimination annoying video artifacts caused by the color wheel. In addition, the sets will no longer require expensive bulb replacement every 2,000 - 6,000 hours (depending upon the model), as the LEDs last at least 20,000 hrs. These were shown by Akai, now run by ex-JVC chief Harry Elias, and Samsung. These new LDC DLP TVs will make their way into dealer’s showrooms in Q2, 2006.

Traditional LCD TVs will continue to improve as refinements are introduced. Sharp showed an impressive LCD display with a claimed 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. While there was no way to verify that figure, the unit sure looked impressive. Initially targeted at the broadcast market, the technology will doubtlessly find its way into Sharp’s consumer oriented products. Another impressive LCD development on display by several manufacturers included LCDs without the annoying video artifacts and blurring usually seen when the image is panning across the screen. Traditionally, when an image is moving across the screen, it can be very hard to watch, but these new LCDs allow the viewer to experience a crisp, clear image, independent of motion. Panasonic and LG Electronics showed such displays, which seem to combine good quality deinterlacing circuitry and varying the intensity of the back light to achieve their results.

Another promising flat panel display technology on the horizon is Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED). OLED uses electro-phosphorescence properties of certain organic materials sandwiched between transparent electrodes to produce an image. It promises very low power consumption, brilliant color, extremely rapid response time and a thin form factor. Perhaps the most exciting is that OLED displays can be produced by a special ink jet printing process, allowing very low cost once the technology is perfected. Philips announced in Jan. 2006 they had built a new high precision ink jet printer for the purpose of producing OLED displays. Samsung showed a 40″ OLED display in 2005. Some promising new developments have been announced this year in the area of polymer lifespan, which has been one of the major stumbling blocks to widespread implementation.
