How to Keep Your Target Customers Interested

Posted in Life Of Marketing at 7:06 pm by admin

Modern life has made all people almost busy all the time. If they are not at work or at school, you will find them at parties, concerts or any events that includes music, food and drinking. That’s just about the life of every American today. So amidst this busy lifestyle, if you are a business owner who has new products or services to offer or a businessman trying to lure in new customers you would have to use a variety of effective marketing strategies that would do the job for you.

Posters can be one of these promotional materials that you can use to let the people know of what you have to offer. But to make people read your posters you have to make it stand out among your competitors. But you have already used the right colors, images and design to your poster to make it captivating and interesting. What else could you possible do to make it more striking than the rest? Well, have you ever given special consideration to the poster’s content? Is your headline really eye catching? Do you think you were able to clearly get your message to your target customers? If you are not able to answer these questions right away with a big, fat Yes, then you should seriously consider taking a closer look to what your poster headline says.

So what makes a good headline? Here are a few tips you could consider to make your poster grab customers for you. First off, you have to create a headline that is short, clear, and straight to the point. You only have a few seconds to catch a reader’s attention so you must get to the point quickly. Use attention grabbing words to keep your readers reading through the entire poster. Second, when creating the headline keep your potential audience in mind. Keep in mind what they need, their likes and dislikes, what problems they usually have and what solutions they need. And when explaining the benefits of your products or services put it in simple words and in a way that appeals to your target audience.

Once you are able to get the attention of the reader, make sure that the rest of the poster effectively explains what they have to know about you and your business. Again, make it simple as much as possible and direct to the point. Remember, it takes only a millisecond for a reader to know if the material is worth their time or not. And if the rest of the poster is not as effective as the headline, no one would waste their time trying to figure out what you are trying to tell them. And you won’t even have a chance for a sale when your audience won’t read what you write.

So be it the headline or the content, create posters that talks to your customers. Let it do the talking for you. After all, if people think the poster is interesting they would keep on reading so they won’t miss a thing. And this means a sale for you.

10 Reasons to Holiday in New Zealand Part 2

Posted in World Of Travel at 10:00 pm by admin

1. Queenstown in the South Island is considered to be the “Adventure Capital of the World”. You can bungy jump or go on a thrilling jet boat ride, go heli-skiing, sky diving, fly-by-wire, and luging to name a few. Both bungy jumping and jet boating were invented in New Zealand. New Zealanders have a saying about Kiwi ingenuity which is borne out in the tourist spots within New Zealand.

2. There is a wide array of different accommodation options to cater for all tastes. At the upper end there are Lodges which are the height of luxury. These lodges are ordinarily located in very scenic and secluded areas and all gourmet meals are included in the price. The price of this type of accommodation reflects the luxury and inclusions.

The next level of accommodation is hotels, from international 5 star down to 2 star for basic accommodation. The hotels will tend to be serviced on a daily basis and usually include one room and a bathroom. Hotel rooms will include tea and coffee making facilities, fridges and most hotels would include a restaurant.

A favored option for families is the ever increasing numbers of apartments. The apartments are generally self catering as opposed to a hotel stay but the advantage is that they provide more space and are self catering which means that you don’t have to eat out all the time thus saving you money to spend on sightseeing.

Then we have motels. Generally speaking motels offer more space than hotels and tend to be serviced daily but do not tend to be as luxurious. Motels often provide a separate bedroom or two and sometimes cooking facilities. You would need to check this out when booking.

There are also an increasing number of Bed and Breakfast’s. These vary dramatically and can vary from 5 star establishments to the fairly basic. If you enjoy “getting to know the locals”, the B & B option could be a good one for you. Generally breakfast will be provided as part of the price. Dinner would be by special arrangement only.

If you are on a budget there are plenty of backpacker hostels to choose from which are centrally located and well priced.

3. New Zealand has a great culinary landscape. Being a small island country surrounded by the sea, there are a multitude of seafood delicacies on offer. The ocean surrounding New Zealand is cold water thanks to Antarctica being relatively close. Cold water fish tend to have a delicate flavor. As well as fish from the sea, there are large lakes which are trout and salmon breeding grounds. Trout can not be caught commercially so there is no danger of supplies running out. New Zealand is also quite big on game and most of the more up-market restaurants will have a game option on the menu. You will find that there are dining options to suit every taste and budget. New Zealand might be quite removed geographically from the rest of the world but it is quick to adopt new types and styles of food and the kiwi ingenuity mentioned earlier in the article is demonstrated in the food served in restaurants. There are coffee bars and cafes, wine bars serving food, pubs with restaurants, family dining options, buffet’s as well as the more up-market al la carte options.

There is also a thriving wine industry in New Zealand. Wherever you go, you will see vines and many of the wines produced are top quality. If wine is your thing, you won’t be disappointed. Marlborough located at the top of the South Island is one of the oldest and best known wine areas, most famous for production of Sauvignon Blanc. New Zealand is also becoming very well known for producing excellent Pinot Noir, a notoriously difficult wine to produce.

4. If you are a Lord of the Rings fan, you will know that the recent series of movies was filmed in different parts of New Zealand. New Zealanders are very proud of this and whilst traveling around you will come across many mentions of parts of the movies which may have been filmed in certain spots. There are also tours catering specifically to Lord of the Rings fans.

5. New Zealand has an interesting cultural history. It is thought that the Maoris who came from Polynesia settled in New Zealand about 1000 years ago. New Zealand became a British colony in 1840 after the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. There are many excellent museums within the cities and towns which offer a great overview of the relatively short and violent history of New Zealand.

Winclear :History Of Internet Cafe

Does it all mean that you risk less when going for paid solutions? No. What it means is that before making a choice on what PC security software to choose depending on your particular needs you should consult with someone with sufficient experience, or read some reviews at least. Keylogger software usually operates in the invisible mode and children don’t know their parents have an eye on them.

Since about November 2004 there has been a lot of publications of a scheme which at first was seen as a new kind of phishing. This technique includes contaminating a PC with a Trojan horse program. The problem is that this Trojan contains a keylogger which lurks at the background until the user of the infected PC visits one of the specified websites. Then the keylogger comes to life to do what it was created for — to steal information. Data loggers, key loggers are just a few programs which harvest info from your computer. Winclear is the only program created specially to auto remove such spywares. Most anti-virus software does not adequately check for keyloggers and Spyware. That is why every computer owner needs winclear.

Protect With Winclear :Clearing Search History
The average pedophile will victimize between 50-150 children before he comes to the attention of law enforcement. A large and growing number of predators have gravitated towards the internet, reasoning that browsing the personal profiles children themselves post on instant message services and anonymously lurking in chat rooms is less risky and more effective than hanging around playgrounds and schoolyards. The number of predators using the internet to groom children for future exploitation rises every month. Winclear is the only software which is capable of removing keylogger programs. How to prevent this from happening? Do you really have to use evidence eraser? Or can you just erase the important file that you stored and carry on with your life? You can’t hide from this people even if you put some anti spyware or adware remover they can still penetrate from your personal information. Winclear has been the industry leader in fighting keyloggers for the last 8 years.

But signature databases are same as with paid software because engineers cannot waste time coding separate databases for users of free and paid programs. That is the reason why you need Winclear installed onto your computer. Some keyloggers or computer spy software can be used as an Internet police or firewall. What SEO Copywriting Is… and Isn’t

Posted in It's Your Business at 1:18 am by admin

I’ve been frustrated lately. It seems people just don’t get it. There’s lots of talk about SEO copywriting these days, but hardly any of it is on target. The majority of the conversations, posts and articles I’ve seen deal with topics like keyword density, allowable limits, over optimization and such. These people are making search engine copywriting all about the search engines. They are forgetting the fact that SEO copywriting is still copywriting.

What that means - generally speaking - is you are still writing promotional copy designed to cause a *person* to take a specific action. Your target audience (your site visitors) should come first. The elements designed to help the copy rank well absolutely come last.

What good is all the traffic in the world if your site copy doesn’t convert visitors into buyers? Not much. That’s why - when writing SEO copy - the human visitor comes first.

Unfortunately, SEO copywriting is getting a bad name because so much of what is being cranked out is repetitious babble. Most of these pages would never have made it on to a site, except for the fact that the site owner wanted to rank highly for certain key terms.

So, in the interest of salvaging the good name of search engine copywriting, before it’s too late, let me offer some guidelines.

SEO Copy Is:

first and foremost - written for the visitor.

unique and purposeful.

natural-sounding - it flows.

SEO Copy Is Not:

written exclusively with the engines in mind.

mirrored, adjusted or altered to create new pages by simply changing keyphrases.

stiff, forced or overly repetitive.

The Dos of SEO Copywriting

When writing SEO copy, you’ll want to:

understand who you are writing to.

choose what the focus of the page will be.

create a plan outlining the message you want to convey.

decide how best to communicate that message to your particular target customers.

choose which keyphrases will be incorporated into the copy.

make sure those keyphrases work well with the page and the planned copy.

incorporate keyphrases as you write (not after you write), so they flow naturally with the planned message.

The Don’ts of SEO Copywriting

When writing SEO copy, you should never:

create a plan based solely on how to rank high.

replace *every* instance of a generic term (car) with a keyphrase (red, convertible car).

add pages of copy simply to appease the search engines.

rely on useless keyword density ratios and formulas.

shove keyphrases in everywhere possible. (No, it won’t get you banned, but it will sound completely ridiculous!)

SEO copywriting is not the process of writing exclusively for the search engines. It is the process of writing copy to appeal to your visitors, while including elements to help the search engines and your visitors understand what the page is all about.

If you remember who truly makes or breaks your site’s success (your customers!) and focus on them, you’re sure to create SEO copy that rings true.

Going Mobile (Part 3): Finding the ‘Perfect’ Wireless Phone

Going Mobile, Part 3: Finding the ‘Perfect’ Wireless Phone by
Donna Schwartz Mills < http://ld.net/?americanglo >

So you’ve done your homework: You have a clear idea of how and
where you’ll be using your phone. You know how many “any time”
minutes you need and have selected a carrier who covers the
region you’ll be in most often. It’s time to go shopping for
your handset; your telephone which will likely be a part of your
workspace for the next year or two.

Your new carrier may offer you a free or discounted phone with
your contract. This may be all you want or need. After all,
today’s free phones have all the features that were sexy and new
two years ago… and that may be enough. Then again… if you
want the latest and the greatest, you may want to look into an
upgrade.

Wireless phone companies heavily subsidize the cost of handsets,
especially to their new customers. This can result in a
significant discount — sometimes as much as a couple of hundred
dollars off the retail cost of a new phone. So the question is
– what features do you need or want? And before you can respond
to that, you need to know what is possible. The answer might
amaze you.

There are people out there who feel they MUST have the very best
in wireless phone products. These folks flock to a site called
PhoneScoop, which carries wireless telephone news and reviews of
models on the market — some of which have yet to hit U.S.
shores. Check out their “Phone Finder” to select a model that’s
right for you:

Among the variables they’ll ask you about are easy ones, like
weight, antenna type and style (flip, folder, slide, etc.) But
then the list of possibilities is dizzying:

* Will you be traveling outside the country? Then you might
need World Roaming.

* Most wireless phones have some address book capacity. Others
also have alarms, calendars, calculators and other organizing
functions and may serve as a substitute for a PDA. (Hey, there
are even hybrids that run on Palm OS or Windows CE)

* You will soon be hearing a lot about Bluetooth - this is a
technology that enables electronic devices (like computers,
PDA’s, telephones) to work together as a wireless network. You
may not be using it now - but some of the hottest phones have it
built in… so when you do, you’ll be ready.

* Say “Cheese!” One wireless carrier has been putting a lot of
money advertising their new “Vision” function, allowing you to
send digital photos through your wireless telephone. Of course,
you need a special handset for this. And while at this writing,
the phones on the market do not include the digital camera you
need, there are some waiting in the wings.

* Lots of wireless users have fun customizing their phones with
colorful faceplates and different ringtones. But not all phones
allow you to do this — if you want yours to play the theme from
Spongebob Squarepants when it rings, you’ll need a phone that
has this feature enabled. Some even have ringtones that are
“polyphonic,” which means that they can simulate the sound of up
to 40 different instruments.

* If you spend a lot of time away from your home office, data
capability may be a real convenience. Check email, surf the web
– some phones will even allow you to receive faxes on the go.

* Do you do a lot of purchasing by phone? You may benefit from
the security of a built-in “digital wallet.”

* Some phones have a GPS (global satellite positioning) feature,
which means that an emergency call to 911 could give the
operator your exact location. A definite plus for those
concerned with security issues.

* While we do not advocate talking on your wireless while
driving, we recognize that people will do so as long as it’s
legal. You can at least minimize your risks by selecting a phone
with some hands-free options, like a headset jack or speaker and
voice dialing.

* SMS and MMS are systems for sending and receiving text
messages. MMS is a more advanced system found in some of the
newer Nokia phones — in addition to text, you can send
graphics, photos and audio clips.

* We’re all familiar with Caller ID. Well, some wireless phones
include something called Picture ID, which allows you to
associate your caller’s picture with his or her number.

Once you have submitted your selections, PhoneScoop’s search
engine will give you back a list of phones that meet your
criteria, and which carriers are likely to offer them. Now your
real fun begins — trying to actually *find* these models and
get the best price.

Do go to your preferred carrier’s store to see and hold the
models you are interested in. A salesperson may even be helpful
and knowledgeable about the phone’s features (but don’t count on
it!)

But before you sign, be sure you also visit your carrier’s
website - many offer deals for those who order their service
online, which could result in some significant savings.

Note that the cool models suggested by Phonescoop may cost you a
pretty penny at the dealer. Here is a sample of what you’re
likely to find for $50 and under at this writing:

** Nokia 3395: Has alarm, calculator, currency converter, can
accept custom faceplates, includes 35 ringtones and the capacity
to download 20 more plus a ringtone composer, five games, text
messaging, voice dialing and wireless Internet. Battery life
nearly four hours, seven days standby. (Free from Cingular
Wireless)

** Motorola T193: Alarm, calculator, calendar, custom
faceplates, 11 ringtones, one game, a headset jack, wireless
internet using high speed data technology, and text messaging.
Battery Life is four hours, four days standby. (Free from
T-Mobile)

** Kyocera KWC 2235: Has alarm, calculator, 25 ringtones plus
you can customize them using Kyocera desktop software, high
speed wireless internet capability, four games, headset jack,
text messaging, voice dialing and voice memo. Battery life is
just under four hours, six days standby. ($49.99 from Verizon)

** Samsung SPH-N240: Has alarms, calculator, calendar, to-do
list, two games, GPS, headset jack, 20 builtin polyphonic
ringtones, voice dialing. Battery Life is just two hours, eight
days standby. ($49.99 if purchased online with new service by
Sprint)

So that’s what you can get for nearly free. How much more can
you have if you’re willing to shell out $100-$400?

Let’s look at one of the most popular phones on the market right
now: the Motorola v60.

The v60 is a clamshell-type phone with a second display feature
on the front cover, which allows you to see who’s calling
without first opening the phone. (Convenient if you’re screening
your calls.) You can customize its look with replaceable front
and back covers — one of several accessories which make this
model the love of wireless phone junkies everywhere. These
include an FM stereo headset and MP3 player as well as a nifty
handsfree car kit.

Other built-in phone features include an alarm, calculator,
calendar, games, text messaging, voice dialing, voice memo, and
wireless internet capability. Battery life is four hours talk
and up to 10 days standby.

Almost every carrier in my area offers a version of the v60 with
prices varying from $199 to $299 — for NEW customers. Depending
on the carrier, existing customers may have to pay close to the
retail price of $379 (listed on Motorola’s website for purchases
without new activation of a plan).

For some inexplicable reason, once your contract ends and you
decide to upgrade to a newer phone, many of the carriers will
charge you retail - even if you re-up with a new two-year
contract. In my opinion, this is a great way to encourage your
long-time customers to switch service providers.

But the bottom line is: are the extra features in the “premium”
models enough to warrant paying the extra money? The description
of the Motorola v60 above doesn’t differ all that much from that
of another Motorola model, the T193, which one carrier is
*giving away* to new customers. In fact, it’s got just about
every feature most home-based entrepreneurs would need.

With mobile phones, you may not be able to have it all… but by
doing your homework and careful comparisons, you can come close
– and save money to boot. Which is better music to my ears than
any old ringtone!
